Before I discovered real estate, my interests were centered on dressmaking and fashion design. I am originally from Europe and came to the United States over 20 yrs ago. My husband Kurt, also from Austria, accepted a teaching position at Ohio State University. Once my 3 sons attended grade school, I started a custom dress making business out of my home. I really enjoyed the creativity and excitement dress making provided for me.
I stumbled into real estate by accident. My husband is no longer teaching, I closed my custom studio and we are now both involved in real estate on a full-time basis. In a way, working with first time buyers is very similar to working with brides-to-be. There is all this anxiousness of finding the right one (house, not dress :-), friends and family get to help with the decision making process and then there is this great joy and sense of fulfillment when we finally sit around the closing table!
